We've talked before about what sets mineral makeup apart and what makes it so great so now we are trying out ELES mineral makeup to see whether the claims are true.
ELES mineral makeup is hypoallergenic and oil free, so its a great defense against shiny skin that summer temperatures can cause. It contains absolutely no chemical 'nasties' so no talc or fragrance which sometimes cause irritation and that itchy skin.
ELES Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation
I'm a daily foundation user, I feel naked without it so I'm always on the look out for foundations which make my skin look fantastic but don't feel like a mask. ELES Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation goes on easily and does a great job of providing excellent coverage without looking fake. It contains SPF 15 so there's no need to slather sunscreen on underneath your makeup and its staying power was fantastic. It looked as good on my skin at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it. I found this foundation a little heavy but as I have fairly dry skin I usually go for a very light foundation but I would definitely use it if I was looking for a heavy duty foundation maybe for a night out or a special event. If you like your foundation a little heavier generally then this is the one for you.

ELES Mineral Sheer Tint
The mineral sheer tint is a whole lot lighter than the foundation, as you would expect. Even though it is lighter than the foundation the coverage is just as good and the finish was so flawless it looked like my own skin but better. It did a great job of covering up all those annoying little blemishes and evened out my skintone perfectly. The colour I used, Cameo Glow, matched really well to my skin tone and didn't leave a dreaded tidemark. I love that this product multi tasks, while it provides coverage it also moisturises, acts as a sunscreen with SPF 20 and contains some fabulous little antioxidants. My skin looked healthy and natural perfect for every day use. As a bonus the tint is water resistant which makes it perfect for summer days at the pool or at the beach. My skin can be a little sensitive but neither the foundation or the tint gave me any problems, no itchiness and no redness just clear and glowing skin.
