Aurora Spa Retreat

A voucher for a spa treatment at Aurora was given to me for my 50th birthday. As is often the way with vouchers, I kept forgetting I had that little treasure waiting for me, and I left it too late. I called Aurora to talk to them about it, and they were very accommodating, allowing me to extend the voucher. When I went for my treatment, I was frazzled and busy. Stepping through the doors into the Prince hotel foyer, you are transported into a groovy den which seems miles from the outside world. The interiors are beautifully done and there is great attention to detail. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. Calm waiting room, beautiful beautiful massage, nice cup of tea at the end. It was one of the best massage experiences I have ever had, and I am very experienced in this domain. A massage is always a treat, but this is worth indulging in regularly.

I had a hand and foot 1 hour file and polish at Aurora. I had never been there, and I found the place to be beyond any of my expectations. I have been to a few high end spas in hotels overseas, but this surpassed my experience at them all. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful, without making me feel like they were better than me (like you can experience in a lot of spas). The place itself was elegant and relaxing, and it was like entering a place where time ceased to exist. Thank you Aurora for the amazing experience!

The Aurora Spa Retreat in St Kilda is the ultimate getaway. The staff are extremely professional and warm. It has an authentic 'spa' feel you want without any pretentious airs. Being tucked at the back of The Prince ensures the treatment rooms are extremely quiet. I found myself instantly calm walking up to the waterfall-inspired entryway. A membership is at the top of my Christmas list. I recommend going early and enjoying the light fare on offer before any of their signature treatments.

Aurora Spa is my monthly treat. The ambience and treatments are all truly indulgent and the staff friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have ever had is that I have to leave. Highly recommended - I drive across Melbourne to get my monthly facial here, I won't go anywhere else!

Very relaxing and calming environment. Swedish massage with Adam was excellent. He was also very knowledgable and helpful for me in recommending a Chinese doctor who I had been wanting to see.
