Keep the waters of Port Phillip Bay to your left as you leave Melbourne. Wind your way southwest towards Werribee. Head south from Williams Landing to find picturesque Point Cook.
Previously, Point Cook’s most prominent talking point was the raaf base. Today, the area is gaining a reputation as a residential haven: close to Melbourne, within cooee of Werribee, cosied up on the bay with fantastic shopping and fast access to some fab attractions.
Take a wander around the historic Point Cook homestead, zoom in for a birdseye view of the raaf Museum, tee off at the Greg Norman-designed Sanctuary Lakes golf course, whizz to Werribee for the mansion, open range zoo and equestrian centre, wine and pizza-dine at Werribee’s Shadowfax winery.
Then wind back to Point Cook town centre for the unwind in Endota spa, 5 fresh treatment rooms – 2 doubles, 3 singles – await. As does a bubb-licious double geisha tub, double shower and spray tan room. Lay back in the lounge. pick up your favourite products at the skinbar. I have just recently given birth to my second child and my pregnancy was a little rough. When attending the Point Cook office I was pampered as soon as I walked in the door. Their pregnancy treatments are just what I needed to lift me up and make me feel like I was floating on a cloud.
I am now looking forward to getting back there for some 'me' time!
