Sakura Lounge

My friend recommended this place to me. It's hidden in Chinatown in a laneway that looks a bit dodgy and dirty. However when you see the salon and go inside it's a different world all together. I always feel calm when I'm there and the therapists are always polite and friendly. Since my first treatment there early last year I have gone back with my friend 4-5 times for the friends and lovers package. At $135 per person for 2.5 hours treatment(foot massage, body massage and facial), it's a bargain. You never feel rushed and the therapists are only too happy to cater to your needs. I always feel like butter afterwards and don't want to leave! They also don't try to sell you beauty products which some salons do when you get a good treatment deal. The service is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for pampering!

Sakura is a real find. Its so convenient if you work in town. They have really convenient hours and almost always have a space for a last minute appointment. :) I had a shoulder complaint and the Sakura masseuse fixed me up - its hasn't flared up since. I've recommended it to many friends.

My first experience at Sakura Lounge was Nov09, my husband treated me to a head to toe for our 1st wedding anniversary... it was the BEST that I've ever had and I'm a spa junkie... since then, I have become a member at Sakura Lounge, benefiting from their special members discounts PLUS medibank rebates! The price and service can even compare with Asia! Highly recommended~ I am looking forward to my special FREE birthday facial/massage this month, thanks to Sakura Lounge's membership!

I am what you would call a spa connoseiur, a spa junkie if you will, and am always hunting down that elusive spa that has quality ambience, service and treatments at a reasonable price. So you can imagine my euphoria when I first visited Sakura Lounge in the middle of Melbourne's bustling CBD and found exactly that. Almost 3 hours of treatments for less than $150, a calming and tranquil atmosphere, and polite and respectful staff who understand you are there to relax and for the treatments, not to have a chat with them. I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud with a very relaxed and happy husband who thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary treat (well if the snoring from the next room is anything to go by!) I have been to Sakura Lounge many times in the last couple of years and every experience has surpassed my expectations! I look forward to my next stress free visit in the near future!

It is located right in the heart of the bustling city, however, this place is quintessentially tranquil - you step through the door and immediately leave all the stresses behind... No detail has been left unattended. When in Melbourne, this place is on the very top of my priority 'must do' list. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys beautiful products, scents, sound and touch - you will not leave disappointed!
